A native of Ireland, I've been working in the publishing and film/TV industries for almost two decades and as a book scout for more than 12 years, launching Fox Literary in 2019. I love having the opportunity to read across genres but equally enjoy the collaborative process of scouting - building relationships and talent watching across the industry.

THE FIRM - Sydney Pollack, 1993 / John Grisham, 1991

I have worked in international and UK publishing for over twenty years, and founded MTLS Literary Scouts in 2007. I love matchmaking books with publishers/producers and there is nothing better than the thrill of starting a new manuscript and knowing you are reading something truly special.

I joined MTLS in 2024, after studying for a BA and MPhil in English in Cambridge and working variously in theatre and bookselling. Alongside reading non-fiction for MTLS, I work as a senior scout across the slate of film/TV clients for both MTLS and Fox Literary. My work involves cultivating relationships with agents and publishing contacts as well as leading research for client creative briefs.
